Janice Iandritsky (Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1992).
 
Janice Iandritsky is a dancer, performer and teacher of tango and dance. She graduated from the Universidad Nacional de las Artes with a degree in Composición Coreográfica (Buenos Aires).

In 2015 she integrated the independent Company “Andante” (directed by Victor Campillay), and the "Compañia de Danza Contemporánea de la UNA" (2016-2017), with which she performed at the Bienal de Arte Jóven, Festival Ciudanza and Festival de Danza Contemporánea de Buenos Aires, among others.

In 2016 she created her first solo, "Hen", with which she participated in various festivals in Argentina such as Festival CoCoa Datei and Festival “Mira!”, among others. That same year she participated as a dancer in the "Festival de Danza Contemporánea de Buenos Aires" with the dance pieces “Cumbia de Cámara” (Julia Gómez) and “Infinito” (Carla Buggiolachi).
Janice has researched on the articulation between dance and music, from there she created “3” (Buenos Aires, 2016) together with the Venezuelan drummer Omar Menendez and "Migra" (Paris, 2017) with the Argentine bandoneonist Martin Sued, which they performed in France, Belgium, Brazil, Argentina and Holland.
She worked as a dancer in TangoArt Cie., tango company directed by Ariane Liautaud (Paris, 2018-2020).

Together with Brazilian dancer Bárbara Faustino Oliveira, Janice created “Hidra Cia. de Dança” with the pieces: “lava.pó. nada” (2021), presented at Festival das Marias, Festival ACTO, Cine-Teatro de Aljustrel (Portugal) and Teatro Ribeiragrandense (Azores), and ‘Existe uma realidade objetiva onde o meu corpo e a minha mente são um só mas eu não estou aqui nem nunca nunca estive’ (2023), presented at Festival das Marias (2024) with the support of Oficinas do Convento (Montemor-o-Novo) and Largo Residências (Lisbon).

She worked as a dancer in the theater piece “Lisbon, my Lisbon!” directed by Faustin Linyekula (Teatro Dona Maria II, 2022), “La Procession” by choreographer Nacera Belaza (Casa da Danca, Almada, 2022) and in the project p“Irrar” by UMCOLETIVO (CAEP, 2024). She was the choreographic assistant for the theater piece “1999” by Sara Vujadinovic and Pedro Salvador (Lisbon, 2024).

Janice worked as choreographer and dancer in the Opera-Tango “Maria de Buenos Aires” by Piazzolla/Ferrer (CCB, Lisbon, 2022), directed the dance piece “La Ciudad Invisible” for the Compañia de Danza Contemporánea de la UNA, (El Cultural San Martín, Buenos Aires, Argentina, 2024) and co-directed the site-specific performance "A Casa Invisivel" (Passa Cá em Casa - Festival Uma Revolução Assim: Luta e Ficção (Lisboa, 2024)

Nowadays Janice lives in Lisbon, Portugal, where she carries out a research between contemporary dance and popular dance from which she creates the solo “Fondo” (Festival A-Salto and Festival Rascunhos, 2021/22) and the project “Tango sin Zapatos” (Fábrica Braço de Prata (Lisbon, 2023), La Pina Submarina (Valencia, 2023), La Piazza dell'erbe (Carrara, Italy, 2022) and Studio InTango (HangZhou, China, 2023). She also teaches tango and dance workshops in Lisbon, organizes the monthly milonga “Milonga La de Bota” and the weekly practice “La Orillera”.
